Hollie Tyler Merideth WeddingHollie Tyler, a 6-3 center from Leadore, Idaho. Born December 26, 1982 ... daughter of Scott and Eunice Tyler, played highschool basketball in Leadore from 1997-2001, college ball at the University of Montana from 2001-2005. Hollie has been playing professional basketball in europe for the last 3 seasons.

Hollie Merideth DKSK BasketballDuring the 2006-07 season Hollie played for DKSK in Miskolc Hungary. Miskolc is a city about 2 hours northeast of Budapest and has a population of 180,000. Hollie led the league in blocks per game, was 3rd in rebounds per game (9.3), and was 11th in points scored per game (14.8) and led her team in all 3 categories, while averaging 30 minutes per game.  The team finished in 5th place with a record of 15-11.

Hollie Merideth IMC Damesx Waregem, BelgiumDuring the 2005-06 Season Hollie played for the IMC Dames. The team is located in Waregem, Belgium. Waregem is a city located about 120 kilometers south-west of Brussels with a population of 50,000. It was a very good experience for her and it introduced her to professional basketball and to Europe. European basketball is much faster paced and more guard oriented than the Lady Griz ball Hollie played in college. Hollie averaged 12 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 22 minutes per game. The Dames ended their season on April 14, 2006 with a loss in overtime to St. Katlenewaver. Their season record was 25-8. 

Hollie Tyler - University of MontanaHollie played for The University of Montana from 2001-05.  During her career for the Lady Griz she was named Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year 01-02, Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year 02-03, 03-04, and Big Sky Conference MVP 04-05.  She was also named to the All Big Sky Conference 1st Team all four years.  During her career she scored a total of 1,698 points, making her the second in the scoring history of Montana.  She also recorded 952 rebounds and 297 blocks, making her first in Montana’s history in both statistics.  In the Big Sky Conference career lists, Tyler ranks second in blocks, fourth in rebounds and sixth in scoring.  Tyler was also named to the Lady Griz Holiday Classic All-Tournament team 4 times during her career and received Lady Griz Holiday Classic Tournament MVP in 2004. In 2005 Hollie received the Mary Louise Pope Zimmerman Most Valuable Player award.  She graduated from The University of Montana School of Business in May, 2005, with her degree in Accounting.
